Rudy Kalis is a remarkable man whose career in Nashville sports broadcasting spanned more than four decades, making him one of the most trusted and respected voices in Middle Tennessee. As Sports Director for WSMV-TV Channel 4, he became a household name, covering everything from the rise of the Nashville Predators to the heart of local high school athletics. His excellence behind the camera was matched by his deep commitment to people, telling stories that inspired and encouraged generations of viewers.


Yet Rudy’s greatest impact has always been off the screen. Known for his unwavering faith in Jesus, he has devoted his later years to ministry, mentoring inmates and pointing others to the hope and redemption found in Christ. His life reflects a legacy far greater than awards or recognition—one rooted in faith, humility, and service. Today, Rudy continues to shine the light of Christ, showing what it means to live boldly and faithfully in every season of life.

Table Host

Table Hosts are individuals who pray and 

recruit others that might share the FCA 

vision to fill their tables. It will be important 

for each Table Host to prayerfully consider 

who they ask to join their table. While this 

will be a fun-filled night of fellowship and 

celebration, we want to keep in mind the 

vision and purpose of the event: celebrate 

FCA and fundraise. 

Requests/Responsibilities of Table Hosts:

  • Fill a full table of 8 (including at least 3 other potential supporters)
  • Pray for the event
  • Recruit other potential Table Hosts
  • Fill out the FCA Banquet Guest List form and turn in prior to October 20.
